Dlúhé Grefty
Dlúhé Grafty is the winery of Jara Tesařík from Mutěnice, who over time got his wines to famous restaurants in New York and Tokyo! No wonder, they are really one of the best natural saddles in Moravia, or at least they really fit us. Sometimes wild, sometimes just slightly playful, but always with a clearly defined individual character. Of course minimally sulphured, completely unclarified, unfiltered and very drinkable! Jára harvested his first vineyard in 2008, since then it has grown considerably to approximately 3 hectares of vineyards in the vicinity of the village of Mutěnice, which with its variegated undulating terrain reminds us of Slovenian Styria, but simply a beautiful landscape. He lives with his family directly below the vineyards and above his cellar, so you can say that Jára never gets away from work (in addition to that, he also works as an assistant at the home office, hehe). The vineyard is gradually rejuvenating, mostly working with varieties such as Pinot Gris, Riesling Vlasský, Milerka or Tramín, and from the blue varieties, for example, Svatovavřinecké, Frankovka or Cabernet Sauvignon. He most often processes them in various combinations, the main goal being a balanced juicy taste and expression of the individual varieties. Maceration plays an important role in both red and white wines. This is followed by a year of aging in oak or acacia with minimal stirring to keep the wine charged. That's why all wines go under the crown instead of the classic cork
